Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer was interviewed by MovieFone recently and revealed details of a dream she had about Edward Cullen.
"I had this weird... I was sleeping in the guest room because my husband had a horrible cold and so I wasn't like in my normal surroundings and I had this dream that Edward actually showed up and told me that I got it all wrong and like he exists and everything but he couldn't live off animals... and I kind of got the sense he was going to kill me.
"It was really terrifying and bizarrely different from every other time I've thought about his character.
"It was cool because it added something different to my view of him."
Hmmm -- Maybe she could incorporate this new darker side of Edward into a new novel. Please! Please! Please! We want more!

That’s crazy. Talk about going against everything she’s ever created as far as Edward Cullen the character. Dreams are often a reflection of something else, maybe she’s struggling with Midnight Sun?
I agree, I believe this was a sign that Stephanie has some inner demons regarding not finishing Midnight Sun. It had nothing to do with what she saw in the dream as dreams are rarely so simple. Stephanie knows she should finish and has become so close with the Edward character she feels he might be angry with her for not telling his story. She let her own needs come before those of her characters and her fans. Its time to SNAP-OUT of it Stephy and get busy typing!
The character of Edward does not need to change, it would be so wrong. I would love for her to come up with a new book, but the Cullens should not change there eating habits.
i think that would be a great idea. But i think that since bella is already a vampire i think that they should both just go hunting … humans lol.. i know bella dont like the thought of it, by the way her character is described in the book. but maybe edward talks her into doing something different. like how good human blood is. maybe even their child can do something. It could be like the 5th twilight. or something. . . on how their life is going. i mean Stephenie your books are amazing if you are reading this!! GREAT IDEA
When your own creation tells you that you’re Doing It Wrong, you know you’re a hack writer who can’t write worth a darn.
You all need to calm down and let Stephenie Meyer do things her way. Their HER books HER imagination and HER words so you all need to wait like good ol’ fans of Stephenie Meyer and see how good the puzzles fall in place!

maby she just had some things on her mind or something. i have this book that translates and tells you about your dreams, i looked up vampire and it said if u are getting bitten (she said it was like he was ginner kill her) then people are taking to much of u. maby she wanted the bed back. it’d be cool in new moon if bella had a dream or summin or some 1 tells her a story and u get to see him kill some 1. or she has a dream he kills her by antecedently or somthing like tha i donno, it’d be pritty cool

maybe edwards annoyed because its all bella point of view and he wants to show everyone how dangerous he really is to stop this obsession with him or maybe its because of the movies because they shorten it and edit pieces and he didnt like it !

You guys do realize that you are a consumer of a product that she produced and once any contracts have been fulfilled for production she can decide not to produce any more? She wrote it, you bought it so it was a fluid exchange. She owes you nothing more.
