Twilight Racked Up at MTV Movie Awards

pattinson-awardTwilight really racked up at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards! Cam Gigandet (James) and Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) won the Best Fight Scene award. Cam was almost unrecognizable with his short haircut and clean shaven face. He looked nothing like the rugged James from Twilight. Robert Pattinson won Male Breakthrough Performance. He awkwardly accepted the award saying something about not having any more room in his pants. Hmmmm! Kristen Stewart covered her face and looked very embarrassed in the audience. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) won Best Kiss. Pattinson tried to recreate the bedroom kiss scene, but Stewart covered her mouth and abruptly stopped him. I couldn't tell if that was planned or if Stewart was just not into kissing him in front of a live audience.

When Kristen Stewart accepted Best Female Breakthrough Performance, she actually knocked over the trophy and scrambled to pick it up. Rob adoringly beamed his winning smile at her from his seat like he thought it was the cutest thing in the world. At the end of the evening, it was no surprise that Twilight won the Best Movie award. Catherine Hardwicke and the cast members accepted the award. Did anyone notice Catherine's skirt? It was see-through and way too revealing for a woman her age (in my opinion)!
