• Lexicon touched base regarding a rumor about Renesmee’s name changing in BREAKING DAWN. I cleared it up with them, but let me tell you as well - it is FALSE.

• Amanda (Twi Examiner) asked about Riley’s appearance in BREAKING DAWN because it was listed on Xavier’s IMDb page. I already told her, but in case you did not see her post, Riley will not appear in the BREAKING DAWN films. It is a rumor

• Also not confirmed is anything you have heard about the US release date of the ECLIPSE DVD. We have not announced it yet, so unless it is international and confirmed by an international distributor, it is a rumor

Rosenberg also talks about Jacob imprinting on Renesmee.  "One must be very careful with that," Rosenberg said about the scene, "but hopefully you've taken this ride with Jacob for all four movies; you know Jacob, and so I think you'll experience it the way he does, which is spiritually, as a spiritual experience, as an emotional experience and not something that makes one uncomfortable."

It has been speculated that the November release date was decided due to the decline in earnings compared to New Moon. Eclipse has earned about $8 Million less than New Moon earned. An executive from Summit Entertainment says that this is not the case. Summit Entertainment executive Richard Fay stated that the decision to release part 2 of Breaking Dawn in November instead of July was made due to the huge line up of movies already set to premiere in July 2012.  The new Spiderman, Ice Age, Madagascar, and Batman movies are among the movies scheduled to release in July. These movies would be serious competition for Breaking Dawn.

Even though the sales for Eclipse were down from New Moon, Summit Entertainment still made tons of money on this movie. They spent approximately $64 Million making the movie, and the movie has grossed $289 Million thus far.

What do you think about having to wait a year between movies?

There was so much speculation that MTV decided to go straight to the source and ask the question. MTV recently contacted Summit Entertainment regarding this issue. This is what they found out:

In the "Twilight" universe, there are levelheaded questions — will "Breaking Dawn" be in 3-D? — and then are the improbable, yet intriguing, ones. Among the more puzzling queries is whether, based on the many scream-inducing elements of its source material, "Breaking Dawn," will draw an R rating instead of the usual, Twi-approved PG-13.

It's hard to imagine Summit Entertainment making a "Twilight" movie that would require its tween-heavy audience to convince adults to buy them movie tickets, but the idea nonetheless remains a topic of discussion in the blogosphere. So we decided to put the question to Summit. While the studio acknowledges that discussions about an R rating are definitely taking place ("By all means," said distribution chief Richie Fay), the studio remains committed to its tried-and-true PG-13.

"I don't see it ever becoming an R-rated movie," Fay told MTV News. "The middle road we have to travel is a mutual respect as to staying true to the book but not turning off your audience. Read More

We have had a lot of curious fans hoping that Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) would be attending the event with Robert Pattinson. Unfortunately, according to Gossip Cop, Kristen Stewart will not be attending the 2010 Teen Choice Awards.  Stewart's Rep stated that she is away working on the road so she will not be able to attend the event. It is unfortunate that she will not be attending with Pattinson and Lautner.

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg talked to The Hollywood Gossip recently about how much skin will be revealed in Breaking Dawn, and here is what she revealed. “We want the eroticism of the sex scenes. If you really look at the books, how much are you really seeing? I think [the movies] might wind up being saucier than the book because you’re actually seeing skin-on-skin and the horror of the birth scenes. We’re not shying away from it.”
