Help Ashley Greene With ‘Teens for Jeans’ Charity

Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the Twilight movies, really is a sweetheart. In her latest work of charity, she is helping to get clothingg to homeless teenagers. “This holiday season I’m filming the DoSomething.org ‘Teens for Jeans’ campaign PSA to encourage teens to donate their gently worn jeans to homeless youth,” says Greene. The third annual Teens for Jeans drive encourages teens to drop off their gently worn jeans to any Aéropostale store anytime between Jan. 19th and Feb. 14th, 2010. DoSomething “will make sure they get donated to a local homeless shelter or charity. Aeropostale will give those who donate a pair of jeans an additional 25% off the next pair of jeans they purchase.

Alice Cullen is one of most beloved characters in the Twilight saga movies. Ashley Greene portrays the feisty vampire sister of Edward Cullen to perfection. “She’s like this pixie-ish character, whimsical and fashion conscious,” Tish Monaghan, New Moon costume designer, said of Alice Cullen's style. “She’s a girly girl, and wherever you can add details to her clothing it really helps cement her character — like when she’s in school I gave her the pretty neck scarf and the hand warmers and long sleeves. The blue jacket was from Zara.” Pictured on the right with Jasper (played by Jackson Rathbone), in the scene when the Cullens vote on Bella’s vampire fate, Alice wears a blouse from Teenflo in Vancouver and J Brand Jeans.

Is Ashley Greene a Homewrecker?

Ashley Greene may seem like the sweet girl next door, but she goes after who or what she wants. While in Vancouver filming the third installment of the Twilight Saga 'Eclipse,' Greene (who plays feisty vampire Alice Cullen) attended a Kings of Leon concert and was instantly attracted to rocker Jared Followill. The feeling was mutual. Jared broke off his engagement to 23-year-old model Alisa Torres to hook up with Ashley. Jared and Ashley were spotted at The Box in New York last week celebrating Jared's birthday. The two were all over each other all night holding hands and making out.

It is rumored that Ashley Greene was also responsible for breaking up her Twilight co-star Kellan Lutz's relationship with actress Annalynne McCord.

New Moon Premiere Photos

The superstars of Twilight were all out wearing their finest for the premiere of the second installment of the Twilight saga, New Moon. Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) looked better than she has looked in awhile. She must have somehow found a hairdresser to tame that Joan Jett hairdo into something pretty for the occasion. Her light-beige sparkly evening gown looked great against her smooth, fair skin tone. Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) looked well-groomed, but I felt like he could have been a little dressier for the occasion. His skinny tie looked retro-chick under his tailored light gray suit. Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) looked gorgeous as ever. I liked his choice of a very classy tux. Elizabeth Reaser (Esme Cullen) and Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen) appropriately wowed the crowd in their attire. They looked great as the heads of the Cullen clan. Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) won the best dressed on the red carpet award, in my opinion. She looked absolutely beautiful in her red floor-length gown. I didn't even notice what Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale) and Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen) had on. I couldn't take my eyes off of their charismatic smiles! Edward Cullen turned 108 years old today. Some people may think that it is crazy to celebrate the birthday of a fictional character, but I think that we should definitely celebrate. If we can be in love with a fictional character then I think that we have to celebrate his birthday. I wander if Edward and Bella will be doing something special for his birthday? Surely Alice will have him a grand party.

Ashley Greene Talks to Nylon Magazine

The beautiful Ashley Greene, who will resume her role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight sequel New Moon, talked with Nylon Magazine about her fabulous life.

On moving to Los Angeles as a high school senior: “You’re 17. There are no adults. It’s L.A. And so I went through this stage where I would just go out, not be responsible, not focus on work or class, and my management was like, ‘Listen, you could go either way. You could be this person - I won’t name names - a reality show actress. Or you could go this way - award-winning actress.’ That was a real shock.”

On the Twilight cast: “We get along really well,” she says of her co-stars, who are all confirmed through at least a third movie. “And thank God! Can you imagine going back over and over if we didn’t?”

This photo from the set of the Twilight sequel New Moon shows Dakota Fanning in costume as Jane, a member of the Volturi Guard. I think Dakota Fanning looks perfect as Jane, the childlike evil Volturi vampire. I love the way they have styled her hair. She is definitely a great casting choice! I didn't really picture the white tights when I was reading the novel, but I think the stylists got the black cloak right. The actress is currently in Montepulciano, Italy filming the Volterra scenes for New Moon.

Ashley Greene Discusses Alice and Her Crush on Jackson Rathbone

In an interview with the Herald Sun, Twilight star Ashley Greene discussed her character Alice and her mutual crush on co-star Jackson Rathbone, who plays Alice's mate Jasper Hale. Read the interview here:

ASHLEY Greene admits she is living a fairytale, even if, at times, she struggles with her new lifestyle.

The 22-year-old Californian has gone from a handful of bit parts to playing a lead character in the film version of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling Twilight books.

The irony is Greene never wished to be an actor. Her dreams lay on the catwalk, but at 165cm she was quickly told she was too short to model and advised to take up acting.

Her tiny stature, however, made her perfect for the role of diminutive Alice Cullen, the sweet, psychic sister of the film's protagonist, heart-throb Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a 104-year-old "good" vampire in a 17-year-old's body.

Greene's role in the film may also have found her love -- with her on-screen husband, of all people.

The chemistry between Greene and on-screen partner Jasper Hale (played by best-friend Jackson Rathbone) has lead to rumours the two are dating.

Though Greene is adamant they are not, she admits the only thing keeping them apart is their hectic schedules.

"He and I both don't have time to date, but we do have amazing chemistry," she says.

"We both have such big crushes on each other and it clearly shows. We got along instantly and the day we met, he was teaching me how to swing dance.

"He (Rathbone) does everything. He sings, he dances, and he's so sweet. Even my mum has a crush on him and tells me, 'You should date him'. So, who knows, maybe when we both stop running around the world."
