Here are some of the questions and answers from the interview:

Q: You've been called this generation's Brad Pitt? What do you think about that?

A: Really? I will take that, but those are some pretty big shoes to fill.

Q: Tell me the short version of how you were approached to become Jacob Black.

A: I just got a call for this film called Twilight. I had no idea what it was. I had never heard of the book series. First, I met with Catherine Hardwicke, the director. I read with Kristen Stewart, who played Bella. I waited around, and eventually I was told I got the role. I still had no idea what it was, so I read the books and fell in love with the character and the story. Nobody had any idea how big this project would become. It has been a thrill ride since then!

Q: Will you use your martial arts skills in your role as Jacob Black?

A: I think the greatest thing about this movie series is that it stays true to the books, and in the books Jacob has no martial arts skills. It would be untrue to the books to use them in the movie. Jacob is actually clumsy before his transformation. He trips when he walks. He becomes extremely agile when he transforms. The movie will show Jacob's new agility.

Q: How far does Jacob and Bella's romance go in New Moon? Do you two finally kiss?

A: I won't tell if we do! If you read the books, you'll know the answer to that. In New Moon, Jacob and Bella's relationship goes far, but Jacob would love to take it farther. Bella is never really letting go just yet. She's still holding on to her relationship with Edward. Maybe we'll see a little more action in the third movie.

Q: Jacob and Edward go head to head in New Moon. Are you nervous about Robert Pattinson fans hating you?

A: They are passionate about him, and he deserves it. He did an amazing job portraying Edward. I do get a little nervous, but I'm thankful for all the fans -- even the Robert Pattinson and Edward fans. We probably wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them.

Q: Kristen has mentioned that she didn't see any reason for a 4th movie not to happen. Are you signed on for a 4th movie?

A: After seeing all this dedication from fans, I don't see why they wouldn't make a 4th movie. I want everyone to go see New Moon at least one more time than they did Twilight.

Q: Did you imagine it would reach the popularity it has? I can't get over the panty thing. You looked uncomfortable. What do you think about these women?

A: I'm not quite sure what to think of it. I'm completely fine with it. I didn't see this coming. I didn't see the popularity of this rising to what it has become. I didn't know what Twilight was, so I had no idea what I was getting into. I strapped myself in and went along for the ride. I'm loving everything, and I'm so excited to be here up in Vancouver filming New Moon. I want to thank the fans for their support.

Q: How have you adapted to stardom since Twilight? Has it been a rough ride or easy adapting to being in the public eye?

A: It's really been a lot of fun to be really honest with you. How Twilight has changed my life is my schedule. I've been really, really busy. I was really busy during filming Twilight and doing the publicity for it. I knew I had to begin prepping for New Moon. I knew if it was going to happen, I had to be ready. I had to be prepared for it. I reallly haven't had that much time off. My schedule has been the biggest transformation through Twilight. I've had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people in many cities and towns.

Q: You admitted you started working out the day after Twilight was finished filming and promised to put on 30 pounds. Did you reach your goal?

A: Yes, I did. It took a lot of hard work. I knew that Jacob had to change from Twilight to New Moon while I was filming Twilight. I didn't have time to waste. When building your body and tranforming to a Jacob-like body, it takes a lot of time and work. I flew home and started working out, eating, drinking protein shakes. It was a lot of hard work. It's paying off now, so I'm excited.

Q: Do you know if you're going to have any fan meet and greets in the Louisiana area?

A: I don't know. That's a good question for Summit Entertainment. That would be pretty cool.

Q: What scene are you most excited about filming for New Moon?

A: There's a few. I'm very excited about this one scene on the beach. It's the part of the book when Bella just finds out that Jacob is a werewolf. She thinks that the werewolves are the ones murdering all these people, and Jacob tells her that they are the ones protecting her from these vampires.  It's the first scene we're going to film.

Q: What is going to be your favorite scene? Will it be when you jump through Bella's bedroom window and almost phase in her kitchen?

A: When I jump through her window, it's going to be a really fun little sequence. There's going to be a really intimate scene in her bedroom.

Q: Are you going to get to do most of your own stunts in New Moon? Which is your favorite or the most challenging?

A: We will actually start filming in 1 1/2 weeks. We are doing pre-production work right now. My most favorite stunt is the jumping through Bella's window. It's a really cool sequence how they show how I'll be able to jump through the window. I will be doing that on my own. I am going to be able to do most of my own stunts. I also get to ride the dirtbikes. Bella gets to, too. She gets to crash on the dirtbikes as well. I have been having dirtbike lessons. It's a lot of fun, but scary sometimes.

Q: Would you ever date a fan?

A: Why not? I don't have any restrictions, so yeah -- sure.

Q: As a child, did you ever think you would become this successful? What did you want to be when you grew up?

A: When I was young, I had no idea what I wanted to be so I tried everything -- baseball, football, swimming, martial arts. I always loved sports, so as I got older I narrowed it down. I did football for 8 years, baseball for 7 years, martial arts for awhile. Martial arts actually led me into the entertainment industry. My karate instructor was involved with it and actually brought me into it.

Q: What was the funniest thing that happened to you on the set of Twilight while filming?

A: For me? There weren't really any funny things. When we shot the beach thing, the weather was just horrible. They had us wearing shorts and a tee-shirt. We showed up to the location, and it was hailing with 40 mph winds and pouring rain. There was a total wardrobe switch.

Q: No pranksters on the set?

A: Edi Gathegi, who plays Laurent, is a prankster and me, too. He called Jackson Rathbone one night using his little girl voice he calls "Kelly." He called him at 10 P.m using this voice and told him that he had a 3 a.m. call time at this location. So Jackson started freaking out and called his manager. Edi called him back and said he was just joking.

Q: Since the Twilight phenomena, what has been the best perk and the worst?

A: The best is traveling the world. We just got back from Tokyo and we went to Australia -- basically every city in the world. They're all super similar -- very dedicated and passionate fans. Wow! We have some fan support. Definitely the worst thing is how busy I've been. I haven't had that much time to see my family a lot and my friends.

Q: Do the paparazzi hover over you now?

A: Yes, they're here in Vancouver. There are a lot more of them in L.A. yes, it's alright though. You just carry on and let them take pictures of you.

Q: What is the one thing your parents do to keep you grounded?

A: Spending time with the family, playing games with the family, taking out the garbage, mowing the lawn

Q: What did you think when you were first approached to do this interview on BlogTalkRadio?

A: I always love live shows. It's a lot more fun. I love just staying connected with the fans in some way. It's very important to me. I know they're the driving force behind this whole phenomena.

Q: Have you gotten to see any concept pics of your wolf counterpart and is it how you envisioned it?

A: I have seen very little. It's all kind of a mystery to us right now. From what I've seen, they're going to look really cool on the big screen. The tranformation process is going to be very exciting and cool.

Q: Why do you think Twilight transcends the generations?

A: Twilight is a romance, and that' s why the girls like it. But the fact that there are vampires and werewolves involved makes it dangerous. There's romance, action, a little bit of horror -- a movie for everyone. Wives and girlfriends force men to read it and they fall in love with it, too.

Q: What was it like to film Twilight with the long hair and the itchy wig?

A: Yeah, the wig was definitely itchy, hot, and your head and ears were really hot. It was always in my face. I had to keep it on when I ate lunch, and it was always getting in my food. Sometimes when the editors were going through the scenes and choosing which ones to include, they were looking for ones where I wasn't spitting out my hair. But the wig was an adventure and gave me a different look, so I guess it was a positive thing.
