Twilight Gear reported last week that New Moon director Chris Weitz will not be directing the third movie in the Twilight saga Eclipse. Summit is looking at directors for the film, and according to rumors Drew Barrymore is being considered. When her reps were questioned, they did not deny the rumor.

I like Drew as an actress. I think she's charming, funny, and cute. But that doesn't qualify her to direct a movie about newborn vampires invading Forks.
