New Moon Trailer Breaks Records
The New Moon trailer has been very popular since its debut at this year's MTV Movie Awards. It received 10.6 million online views in its first week from MySpace and MTV. The trailer views on MySpace set a new record for the site with a total of 4.2 million online views within the first 24 hours and a total of 7.8 million within the first 7 days. The trailer was seen by 5.3 million people during the MTV Movie Awards and received a total of 2.8 million online views on MTV.com during its first week.
The Twilight trailer received only 3.2 million views in its first 48 hours online. Can you imagine New Moon being more popular than Twilight? That is so odd for a sequel.
