There are Internet rumors going around that Vanessa Hudgens of High School Musical will be cast as Leah of the Quileute wolf pack in the New Moon movie. I can see her maybe as Emily, but not as Leah. Tbh I dont think they should cast any Disney actors, they can’t do serious films. They can only act in films of a childish nature, where as twilight (especially new moon) is dramatic and more serious. Vanessa hudgens would just ruin it, even as emily.

i seriously don’t thnk she can act full stop. her voice is a speak and she acts like she’s readin off a page. personally, i try to avoide seeing her on tv, but i loved twilight and all the books, so i am going to seriously cry if they put her in a film tat has followed one of the best books in history. please keep vanessa in disney until shes something like thirty, at least.

I sgree that Venessa won’t do well as Leah. I think there are a lot better choices than her, however i doubt this will get to the movie director. She’s not how i would have imagined Leah and at all. I picture someone less….girlie, more boyish. But, truth be told, she looks a lot like Taylor Posey, so… i don’t know it may or may not work. I prefer someone else…more serious!!

I can’t imagine her acting seriously or being taken seriously, I loved the Twilight books, am really looking forward to New Moon. I think if she does get the role, that’s a really good chance for her to show the world she is a brilliant actress and can adapt to any role, but if she don’t do good, she won’t loose her career but that’d be awful for her.
